Woman pedestrian hurt in collision with a lorry in Moorlands

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in a Staffordshire Moorlands town today (Nov 16).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said a woman pedestrian sustained injuries to her head, back and arms in the incident.

Emergency services were called to the junction of the A53 Newcastle Road and Spring Gardens, Leek, shortly after 12.30.
