LEEK Town have welcomed back former coach Jamie Cullerton to Harrison Park, following the departure of two popular members of the BetVictor NPL club's backroom staff.
First team coach Simon Bell has left because of increased pressure from commitments away from football, while goalkeeping coach Olly Simpson has joined the coaching staff Stoke City.
Bell said: "I've loved every minute of my time at Leek Town and sincerely hope the club the best of luck in the future.
"The club is full of hard working people, from the chairman down to all the volunteers who are the glue which binds this wonderful club together.
"The management and players are the best I've ever worked with," he added.
Simpson said: " I have absolutely loved my time at the club and can't speak highly enough about it. From the chairman to the kit man it is a super club.
"I would like to say a personal thanks to the players for all of their support, and Neil [Baker] for his mentoring - I have learnt so much. I wish all the club the very best for the future."
Blues boss Neil Baker said: "I've spoken to both at length and fully understand their circumstances; to their credit they both still offered to help out where and when they can, which says a lot about them.
"I am sure we will see them soon even if its on the terraces they will be both made very welcome."
Club chairman Jon Eeels added: "I'd like to go on the record and thank both Simon and Olly for their hard work and efforts over the last few seasons.
" A large commitment is needed from anyone involved in football at this level, and this appreciated by me, the Board and the players. I wish them both the very best with their careers and hopefully will see them soon."
Baker has acted quickly to fill the void by inviting back Jamie Cullerton as a key part of the management team with himself and Peter Ward.
Cullerton left Harrison Park to manage Eccleshall FC in the North West Counties League, before later moving on to fill the hot seat at league rivals Stone Old Alleynians.
Baker said: "Jamie is well known to the club and players and has a wealth of knowledge around non league football."
The club are now inviting applications for the vacant role of goalkeeping coach.
