LEEK Town have welcomed back Dan Trickett-Smith from Port Vale on a short-term locan until January.
The attacking midfielder joined the Valiants from the Blues on a two-and-a-half year deal in January 2019.
However, he struggled to command a place in the League Two club's first team, making just one start and two substitute appearances.
The 25-year-old was loaned to Curzon Ashton last season but is now back at Leek to join Neil Baker's squad.
Trickett-Smith is a product of Crewe Alexandra's academy and went on to join Liverpool for £300,000 in 2012.
He left Anfield to play for Sacremento Republic in the USA before returning to England to join Leek.
