BARNSLEY'S exciting young forward Jacob Brown is expected to sign for Championship rivals Stoke City tomorrow (Sept 9).
The 22-year-old is a product of the Academy at Oakwell and made his first-team debut during the 2016/17 season away at Brentford after scoring goals for fun for the club's U23s.
The Halifax-born player has had injury issues to contend with in his short career, but the talented forward wasted no time in forcing his way into the first team plans during the summer of 2018, following a successful spell out on loan with Chesterfield.
Brown grabbed his first Barnsley goal away at Fleetwood Town in the 2018/19 campaign and has never looked back.
Bagging eight goals and as many assists as well as an EFL Young Player of the Month award, Brown's move to the Potters will be a big loss to the Yorkshire club.
He was released by Sheffield Wednesday as a youngster.
