The daily publishing of the death toll - now edging closer to 40,000 in the UK - tends to override the good news, which that many thousands are beating this deadly disease.
So LASAR Radio is delighted to publish the picture one of our local survivors, Jane Walker, looking a picture of health on her parents Staffordshire Moorlands beef and sheep farm, after spending two weeks self-isolating.
Jane and her husband, Jason, had just finished lambing their flock of sheep when her illness struck. She is now watching over the new-borns make their way in life.
Picture taken by Jane's 8-year-old son Joe.
