Six Blues Babes on the scoresheet in another resounding win

Leek Town Ladies 6, Coundon Court 2.

THE Blues Babes shot to the top of the West Midlands Regional Women's League Premier Division with another resounding victory.

It looks being another successful season for Ian Smith's team who City of Stoke Ladies 4-1 away the previous weekend.

Today's game produced six different Leek scorers: Rehanne Mellor, Naomi Sale-Hancock, Katie Gibbons, Michaela Lockett, Lucy Goodfellow and Cass Hyde.

Michaela Lockett was Leek's player-of-the-match.

The Blues Babes reserves were also in action this afternoon, beating Doveridge 3-2 at home in the Staffordshire Girls and Ladies League. Natalie Glenville, Laura Baskerville and Kim Trotter were the Leek scorers.

OVER 200 tickets have already been sold for Leek Town's Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round tie at home to Mickleover on Tuesday (Sept), kick off 7.45pm

Admittance is by ticket only because of Covid-19 crowd restrictions. Attendance limit is 400.
