PUPILS at a Staffordshire Moorlands school are being encouraged by their PE teacher to keep fit at home during the coronavirus lockdown. Emma Bowers, pictured, who teaches at Woodhouse Academy, in Biddulph, doesn't want her students to miss out on regular exercise. The 34-year-old has set up her own YouTube Channel to encourage daily workouts for youngsters confined to home because of social distancing. She said: "I just wanted to do something positive while kids were self-isolating, so they still got 60 minutes of physical exercise activity each day. "I came up with the idea while I was doing some exercise in the living room and garden. It doesn't require equipment and it's fun. It's also something children can do with their families".
