Rocester FC game OFF after club is struck by Covid-19

COVID-19 has struck Rocester FC causing tonight's (Oct 5) Midland League Division One fixture away to Stapenhill to be postponed.

The club has issued the following statement: "We have had a positive test within the club and as a result, in line with Public Health England advice, we are closing the first team side of things down until Saturday, October 17, to safeguard all persons involved with the club".

Uttoxeter Town's home game against MFL Division One league leaders Leicester Road has beaten the heavy rain and goes ahead as scheduled tonight (Oct 6), kick off 7.45pm.
