AMAZING schoolgirl songstress/songwriter Joslyn Plant sang her debut single, Summer Daydream, live on LASAR Radio presenter John Barratt's Monday mid-day show.
The multi-talented rising young star, from Cheadle, co-wrote the soothing song with Kareem El Nagar, from Sheffield-based, Steelworks Studios.
Millions of enthralled viewers last year watched Josyln, 13, as she made her way to the semi-finals of ITV's hit Saturday night show, Junior Voice, last year.
Summer Daydream has been heard many times over on major music platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Google Play since its recent release.
The song was inspired by Joslyn's family holiday trips to Devon.
"It's got a very beachy, happy, sunny feel," she explained. I think we all need a happy song right now."
Joslyn says she has learned a lot from taking part in national singing competitions, which included her winning the under-16 category of Open Mic UK in 2017 and the under-13 section of Teen Star in 2018.
Her first public appearance was in a talent show at Cheadle Primary School, from where she has since moved on to Painsley Catholic College in her home town.
"My dream is to do anything within the music industry. Working in musical theatre would be amazing," said Joslyn.
