Police issue witness appeal after bikes are stolen in shop raid

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after ten bikes worth thousands of pounds were stolen from a specialist shop on the edge of Cannock Chase.

Offender/s smashed the front of Run and Ride in The Green, Milford, at 2am on Monday (June 1) before taking the bikes and making off in a white van, described as a white Mercedes Sprinter with a roller shutter rear door and number plate at the top.

The van made off in the direction of Wolseley Bridge (Rugeley).

The bikes taken were a Scott E-Genius 920 (L), Scott Spark 920 (M), Scott Genius 950 (L) Merida e-one forty 4000 (XL), Scott Spark 900 RC WC (L), Whyte E-150 S (L), Focus Sam 2 (2018), Giant, Carrera and a further Giant.

Anyone with information should contact Staffordshire Police on 101 or via social media, referring to incident 61 of June 1, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
