Police issue image of motocross bike in connection with store raid

POLICE have released an image of a motocross bike thought to have been used in a raid on a village supermarket in North Staffordshire.

Masked raiders targeted the Co-op store in Leek Road, Endon, in the early hours of Monday, October 5.

Two men, both wearing dark clothing and face masks, broke into the cash machine and stole a quantity of £20 notes.

The motocross bike, pictured, was captured at the scene of the crime on security cameras.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "Officers believe the offenders left the area on a distinctive blue/purple motocross bike with black flecks, travelling in the direction of Hanley."
