Police hunting for sheep rustlers who stole lambs from field

SHEEP rustlers who stole 13 texel-cross breed lambs from a field in the Staffordshire Moorlands last week are being hunted by police.

The lambs were taken from land off the B5031 in Denstone sometime between Tuesday, May 12 and Saturday, May 16.

Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles in the area to contact them.

It is the latest incident of sheep rustling in the area after animals were taken from a field at Yoxall near Uttoxeter last month.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting reference number SP-20200516-0162.
