POLICE have issued an appeal for information following an attack on two teenagers in Biddulph early last Sunday evening (August 2).
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to a report of disorder at Highfield Road.
"A number of teenagers - some believed to have been armed with weapons - were involved in a fight and two teenagers were left with injuries. Our inquiries are ongoing."
West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to reports of an assault at the junction of Well Street and Prince Street shortly after six o'clock.
A spokesperson said: The ambulance service was later stood down after it became known there were no patients for us to treat."
Police have been acting on information that the incident involved a gang of teenagers from Chell Heath descending on the town.
