Old Boys fight back from a goal down to claim a point

Wolstanton United 1, Leek CSOB 1

OLD Boys came from behind to claim a hard-fought point from their opener in the Staffs County Senior League Premier Division.

Sam Bostock equalised with a great strike from distance in the second-half after Wolstanton had snatched the lead on the stroke of half-time.

Kieran Bond included a number of new faces in the CSOB line-up, after being forced to make changes because of injuries, suspension and players unavailable.

The visitors started well but then lost their way and paid the penalty by falling behind.

It was a different story in the second half which saw CSOB on top for most of the time.

Wolstanton finished with 10 men after having a player sent off following an off-the-ball incident spotted by the assistant referee.

CSOB entertain Moorlands rivals Cheadle Town at Pointon Park on Wednesday (kick off 7.30pm).
