A FURTHER easing in lockdown will see non-essential shops in England re-open next Monday (June 15).
Business Secretary Alok Sharma announced the go-ahead this afternoon, but he warned retailers must follow Government safety guidelines or face being served with enforcement notices.
The number of people who have died after testing positive to coronavirus has risen by 286 to reach 40,883.
The previous day, the UK recorded its lowest daily increase in deaths - 55 - since before lockdown on March 23.
Fewer deaths are reported on Mondays due to a recording lag over the weekends.
