A HEALTH centre in a Staffordshire Moorlands town has been closed for four days as a precautionary safety measure while it is cleaned.
A statement issued by the Park Medical Centre on Ball Haye Road, Leek, said patients have been contacted to make alternative arrangements where required.
The statement added:"Patients will still able to get advice from our out-of-hours service who are supporting the practice, by calling the surgery.
"We apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused. Safety is our priority and we have been working with public health teams to make sure there is no risk to staff and patients".
