NEWCASTLE will host the first UK horseracing fixture since lockdown when the sport returns to action on the flat on Monday, June 1. Kempton will take centre stage the following day. Both fixtures are on the all-weather surface. Flat racing on the turf is set to resume at Yarmouth on Wednesday, June 3. Further fixtures have been allocated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) up to June 8, with more fixtures to follow, as the sport attempts to make up for lost ground.
The BHA has confirmed that there will be no jumps racing until July at the earliest.
