LEEK Town Ladies have welcomed a second new signing ahead of their 2020/21 campaign in the West Midlands Women's Regional League Premier Division.
She is Holly Chipman who played for Stoke City Ladies during the 2018-19 season.
Holly is the second former 'Potter' to arrive at Harrison Park in recent weeks, joining Cassie Hyde, the former Stoke first team's long-serving central defender.
Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Holly grew up in Cheltenham, before moving back to the local area and teaming up with Stoke Ladies.
Holly gave football a miss last season and instead chose to play hockey for Leek Ladies.
She has joined in pre-season training with the the Blues Babes for the last few weeks.
Holly said: “ I am excited to play football again and have really enjoyed the training sessions.
"I’m really looking forward to the remainder of the pre season games and the start of the league campaign.
Team manager Ian Smith said: "Holly has really impressed us so far in our pre-season work and will be a valuable asset to our squad".
