Good news for rail passengers who use Moorlands village station

THERE is good news for rail passengers who use the Staffordshire Moorlands only mainline station at Blythe Bridge.

East Midlands Railway (EMR), which runs an hourly Crewe - Derby service via the village station, has increased the number of trains it runs by a third from this week.

AN EMR spokesman said: "We will also continue to monitor passenger demand to understand if any service alterations are required for school or college students."
