EMERGENCY services were called out to rescue two people who had fallen at a remote popular tourist spot in the Staffordshire Moorlands yesterday (Saturday, May 30) afternoon.
The incident at Thor's Cave, near Wetton, in the Manifold Valley, demanded a full turn-out of emergency services workers.
The cave stands around 80 metres (260ft) above the Manifold Way below and is reached via a steeped footpath, making access difficult for rescue workers.
No further details yet.
