STAFFORDSHIRE Moorlands Police have carried out three drugs warrants to search properties in Biddulph following a disturbance in the town on Tuesday evening (Sept 15).
Seven teenagers who were arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident have since released on conditional bail.
Controlled drugs and related paraphernalia have been seized with investigations continuing. The seven arrested, who are aged between 15 and 18 and come from the Stoke-on-Trent and Biddulph areas.
Enquiries continue and police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward,
Officers are especially keen to speak to anyone who was in Charles Street and Well Street at around 6pm.
Chief Inspector Mark Thorley, commander for the Staffordshire Moorlands Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “A dispersal order will remain for the near future and a patrol plan is in place to ensure extra focus is given to the area.
"Our officers will continue to do what’s necessary to keep the Moorlands a safe place to live, work and visit.”
