Candlish stable newcomer will make his debut live on ITV 4

STAFFORDSHIRE Moorlands trainer Jennie Candlish sends out an interesting stable newcomer at Newbury Races this (June 12) evening.

ITV 4 is screening a bumper 10 races from Newbury and the Irish 2000 Guineas meeting at the Curragh.

The Team Candlish-trained Mutaabeq has joined the Basford Grange stables from Derby-winning trainer Marcus Tregoning's yard. He goes in Newbury's 6.25 1m 2f handicap under jockey Joe Fanning.

The five-year-old was previously owned by Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum but now runs in the colours of Glen's Fools 2.
