LEEK Town continued their preparations for the new season with a friendly away to Midland League Division One side Rocester FC last night (Aug 21).
Rob Stevenson gave the Blues a 1-0 at half-time lead and then Jake Twyford and Lewis Short added further goals in the 73rd and 77th minutes.
The game came just over four hours too early to allow fans back in, following the Government and FA's decision to allow limited attendances at below National League level from today.
Because of the restrictions only 200 spectators will be allowed in at Harrison Park for Blues friendly against Congleton Town, from the North West Counties League Premier Division, on Friday, August 28, kick off 7.45pm.
Fans can purchase match tickets at the ground today, between 2pm - 4pm, and on Tuesday evening between 7 - 9pm.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and concessions, and £3 for under-16s.
The game will present an opportunity for home fans to see a former Blues favourite in action, Jordan Johnson, who recently joined the Cheshire club.
